What to Expect at the Muni -Safety and Sanitation Practices

Sanitation precautions at the Wayzata Bar and Grill have been implemented to keep visitors and employees safe. The bar and grill is following safety and sanitation recommendations from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and from the Minnetonka Health Department.

  1. Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the facility.
  2. Indoor capacity is limited to 50 percent or 100 people. Capacity on the patio is limited to 50 people.
  3. Barstools are appropriately spaced and no more than two people can sit with each other.
  4. Tables are spaced 6 feet apart in the bar area and only every other table will be seated in the dining room.
  5. Video games have been removed.
  6. Popcorn machine has been shut down.
  7. Single serve condiments have replaced table top caddies.  All condiments are by request.
  8. Individually wrapped straws replace unwrapped straws.Guests box their own leftovers.
  9. Scheduled sanitation of high-touch areas.
  10. Disposable menus replace laminated versions.
  11. Guests box their own leftovers.
  12. Touch free faucets and soap dispensers have been installed.
  13. Seating is by reservation only.
  14. Seating is limited to groups of four, or six if from the same household.
  15. Masks and gloves are in use 100 percent of the time.
  16. Employees complete health screenings prior to coming to work.
  17. Employees are scheduled in “crews” or “pods”  to minimize the spread of symptoms.
  18. City has notification policy to notify employees if there is a positive COVID-19 case. City is working with MDH on notification and quarantine requirements for staff the employee made contact with.
